Faq

What's bingo?

Watch this video to learn.

It's a fun game of chance!

We will use pawprint stamps instead of chips to make it fun!

How many games will we play?

Each person will be given 4 bingo game cards.

We'll play 3-4 games depending on time.

How do we play?

Good question!

The bingo caller (aka a fabulous Blackwell teacher/staff member) will call out a letter/number combination (ex. B-6).

You use your pawprint stamp to mark out that spot.

The bingo caller will continue to call out letter/number combinations until someone shouts "BINGO!"

That person is the winner!

What do I win?

Now I know we are in it to win it!

There will be a small Bobcat prize for the winners.

You are also invited to a photo op!

Will it be loud? Yup!

We expect to have about 550 bingo players in the gym/commons area.

If you are or your Bobcat student need any accommodations, please fill out the accommodation form. here and we'll work to make sure your student has their needs met.

However, we need to know this by October 10th, so we can plan properly.

What is a raffle ticket?

Each $10.00 entry ticket will come with 1 raffle ticket.

Many Blackwell classrooms have donated a fun-themed basket for this evening.

There will be time for you to look at all the baskets.

Once you find the one you really want to win, drop your raffle ticket in the bag in front of it.

During the night, we'll pause and do the raffle drawings!  Will you win?!?!

Okay, now that I know how amazing the raffle will be, how do I buy more?

You can buy additional raffle tickets (the more you buy, the cheaper they are).

More tickets will be available the night of the event, but they will be $1/each so buy now to save!

Don't forget to buy some for yourself and some for your kids.

Both of you will find at least one basket that will make you swoon!

If I win, how do I get my basket home?

At the end of the night, you'll take the basket home with you!!

But we will probably want a photo of you with your huge basket first!

What's a Silent Auction?

A silent auction is completely different than the raffle baskets.

With a silent auction you bid a $$ amount that you are willing to pay for an item.

Want to win an Auction Winner Parking Spot in the Blackwell school parking lot?

Bid a $$ amount.

Want to be able to pie Mr. Eaton in the face?

Bid a $$ amount.

The highest amount wins.

We'll contact the winners, and you'll make your payment by cash, check or credit.

You will be assigned a number so you can bid anonymously.

Do I need to buy a ticket?

Every person entering Blackwell the night of the event needs to have a ticket in hand.

Have a specific question about this?  email bingo@blackwellptsa.org.

What about food?  Can I bring in my own food & drink?

All the bingo fun will make everyone hungry!

After carefully considering all options, we have chosen to offer food trucks before the event.

The water bottle refill station near the bathrooms will be available, so bring your water bottles.

You want to be able shout BINGO when you win!

Can I bring my preschool child?

Yes! We would love to see future Bobcats attend Bingo Night!

They will still need a ticket to enter event.

However, we ask that older students skip this event.

We will have other opportunities this school year where Middle and High School students can volunteer/attend.
