Welcome to Blackwell Math Club

The Blackwell Math Club is for 4th and 5th graders who want to participate in various competitions throughout the year. Students practice regularly with competition problems that will challenge their math abilities.

Competition Dates

• Students may compete as individuals and as members of a team. AMC 8: January 18-24, 2024 (individual)
• MOEMS: November 2023 – March 2024 (individual)
• Math League: April 18th, 2024 (individual)
• Math is Cool: TBD (team)

Session Dates

Thursdays 7:00 – 8:00 PM

From October 5th, 2023 – April 25th, 2024

A session may be canceled if it conflicts with a school/PTSA event.

All sessions will be hosted online through Zoom. A Zoom invitation will be sent to the email address listed on your PTSA account. Please verify that your information is up to date.

Club Fee

$100 (non-refundable) which covers the competition fees, study materials, math magazine and general operating expenses. Additional competition fees may be collected later if needed.

Registration Deadline

Registration closes on Friday, September 22.

No late registrations will be accepted.

Expectations

● Students are expected to be respectful, cooperative, and follow all school rules.

● Parents are responsible for transportation and meals during in-person competitions.

● This club is parent volunteer based, if interested, please contact us.
