MESSAGE FROM OUR PRESIDENT 2023~2024
Hello Blackwell Community,
Exciting, positive and affirmative are some of the words that spring to mind when I walk through the doors of Elizabeth Blackwell. I am so proud to be a part of this caring community. My daughter was a Bobcat for 6 years, my first grade son is so excited to be a Bobcat, and I'm excited to be a Bobcat as PTSA President.
Our Blackwell community is diverse and inclusive.
Our classrooms and PTSA members reflect that.
As a PTSA we strive to include all members of our community.
We are better because we are different and stronger because we are one.
What do we have in store for our families?
New Family Dinner, spirit wear sales, celebration & education of diversity and inclusion, Walk to School Month, teacher luncheons, Kindness Garden support, sponsoring Taproot Assembly, costume swap, Boo Fest, Pumpkin Carving contest, Candy Drive for the troops, birthday book drive for library, yearbook cover design contest, card writing for Veterans, Literacy Event @ Brick and Mortar to support our library, Movie Night, Winter Wishes and of course our fabulous Art Program!
All of these events will be held before the end of December!
All of us are volunteers who work hard to add amazing experiences to our school.
