What is Blackwell PTSA Running Club?
Blackwell Running Club is open to all Blackwell students (kinder - 5th grade). It is an opportunity for Blackwell students to engage in a semi-structured physical activity, together, outside of normal school hours. Running Club is designed to get kids moving! Older students can consider Running Club a conditioning session that will help with endurance for sports outside of school!
Students can expect to run or walk for at least 20 minutes via games, relays or laps.
Where is Running Club located?
Running Club is located on the field adjacent to the Blackwell playground.
On heavy rainy days, you can find us under the tents behind Blackwell (next to the portables); will run in the rain, if it's lightly raining. :)
When is Running Club?
Running Club will be held on Mondays in October from 3:55 PM - 4:25 PM (10/2, 10/9, 10/16, 10/23, 10/30)
What does my student need to join Running Club?
Appropriate footwear (i.e. sneakers)
Water bottle
Consider dressing in layers
Completed permission/waiver form (See registration link for details)
How much is Running Club?
Running Club fee - $15
Pick-up
This activity ends at 4:25 PM. We ask that students must be picked-up no later than 4:30 PM.
